The Coxsackie YMCA hosted a Veterans Day Luncheon for local veterans November 9, 2023.
The luncheon was attended by members of local American Legion Post's and other local veterans groups.
The Greene County American Legion presented the Coxsackie YMCA with a Certificate of Appreciation for hosting the luncheon.
American Legion Post 166 would like to thank the Gospel Community Church in Coxsackie for hosting an outstanding Veterans Day Dinner for area veterans and their families on November 8th, 2018. The Post would also like to thank the Coxsackie Elementary School students for inviting Post members and local veterans to their excellent veterans day program held on November 9th, 2018.
On November 12th, 2018, Post 166 held a Veterans Day Ceremony at the Coxsackie World War I monument. The Post would like to recognize and thank guest speaker Robert Desrosiers, the Coxsackie Village Police for their assistance during the ceremony and area residents for attending and showing their support of the local veterans.
AMERICAN LEGION POST 166 2018 VETERANS DAY 50/50 RAFFLE
Post 166's 2018 Veterans Day 50/50 raffle was drawn at the Post meeting November 15th, 2018 and the winner was Carol Metz, who generously donated the entire amount back to the Post. Congratulations Carol and Thank You for the generous donation and your continued support of the American Legion.
November 8th, the Coxsackie Elementary School hosted a Veterans Recognition Day.
November 11th, Coxsackie American Legion Post and the Coxsackie VFW Post conducted a ceremony at the WWI monument.
